While Rob sergent, the head distiller, was studying during his informative college years he was also skiing in the Alps on the weekends. During these trips to the mountains Rob discovered that each town had their own twist on a digestif that was consumed post-dinner. Upon moving to Park City to live that local’s mountain lifestyle he was inspired to create a Park City twist on the European classic.
It is a 100% corn spirit that is bottled at 50% alcohol by volume. The botanicals (Spanish anise, green tea, peppermint, ginger, lemon balm, cinnamon, nutmeg, wormwood) are added to create layered, complex flavors and macerated at different stages to balance the sweetness with a nice bitter finish. It can be consumed on its own as a classic digestif, easily mixed one part spirit to three parts cold water for a “minty” refreshing cordial, in hot chocolate for a killer adult post-skiing beverage or used to coat a glass in preparation for a wonderful and modern sazerac.
